You'll certainly enjoy them more than any of those other options. They're very sticky when new, but start to fade as the tread depth gets close to the wear indicators. I didn't get a whole lot of life out of mine, but I put a lot of track events on them. I would stay away from the taller sidewall. It's certainly possible to run them, but you really don't want that extra sidewall flex, especially if you're already buying relatively-cheap tires.
